Alice’s Drive Film Update
Posted on Oct 18th, 2009 at 7:47 am by Bengt
Hello everyone -
It’s been some months since our last posts here on the website. After all the fervor and excitement from the drive this summer we’ve all gotten right back to work and family and slept for nearly a week.
Bengt, Ted and Jonathan (the film crew) headed home as well and have begun work on editing of the documentary. It’s an extremely time consuming process especially after filming for nearly 4 years and then for 35 days this past summer. That makes for A LOT of footage to wade through. It’s a long, arduous process taking 200 hours of footage and transforming it into the best possible 80 minutes!
For those of you who have pre-ordered the documentary we apologize for not having a copy to your homes already. We are hoping to finish on or around the Summer of 2010. If you know anyone or any organization that assists independent filmmakers with what we call “finishing funds” please do not hesitate to send the information our way or have them get in contact with us as well: bengt@livefeedfilms.com
It would be a huge help to secure finishing funds and would allow for us to turn Alice’s Drive into our full-time job so we can work all the faster.
Lastly, in the next week or so we will post a new video on the website as a little thank you and taster of what’s to come. Stay tuned and thank you for all of your continued understanding and support.

What a timely message. Today, Oct. 20, I will make a presentation about our trip at the Huntsville AL public library. I have over 1000 photos from Christy, Barb, Claus and myself that I have poured over to come up with an hour program that I hope will be interesting. I can only imagine the weeks of footage you guys have to go through. Hope you find some funding to speed up the process but I know the end result will be wonderful whenever you finish it. Good luck with your project. Sally Barnett, passenger.
