Don’t miss the photos!

Because we are on the road, its a little difficult to keep everything updated. Sending mini-updates with the phone is the easiest, because we have that with us while we are driving. To get blog posts up, sometimes we have to call up Micah and dictate the post because we know that by the time we get to our destination, we may be too exhausted to get online.
But believe us when we say we are taking photos, and video and doing everything we can to document the trip! When we do get a chance, we upload photos! We really have an amazing bunch of them too, and we are sad that we can’t get them up at the same time as the blog posts go up. We’ve started going back and updating some posts with some choice photos, so be sure to check out some of the older posts to be able to see those.
You can also go check out our photo stream where we are putting up all the photos. You can follow along there too and get a much more rich experience seeing the amazing sights that we are seeing! There are photos there from the very beginning of our trip, so be sure to look at them all and check back to see more!
Hello again - We spoke with you briefly as the Maxwell was being loaded up after S. Bend conference event. It was so nice to meet you all! Glad to see the Maxwell is behaving again!
Wasn’t able to tell from BLog exactly when you are arriving in C. Rapids? And when you’ll head west from there. . . . We’d like to get you that pie lined up at Youngville Cafe (20 miles west of C. Rapids, near where Alice spent the night in her car) but need to let them know when to expect you. The pie lady lives next farm east so is nearby.
Also - we had an inquiry from Belle Plaine museum as to when you might be passing through there. In Belle Plaine, Preston’s station is a can’t miss photo op for you and the car - as well as in front of Sankot’s Garage. . . .
The route map on web puts you in CR 18th. . .

We appreciate all the pictures and think they are great, but please remember to be safe out there on the roadways as you are filming. If you could make a sign to put on the back of your car that read “Film Crew” or “Alice Ramsey 2009 Camera Crew” it might help. Just Suggestions. Jenny Washburn

Glad to see your film crew is aware of the value of a rearview mirror shot! You’re on the move, they’re on the move - always exciting even if the mirror itself has a mind of its own, making the image a little blurry!
