Way to go Ladies!!, we just read on Twitter that you are at the Golden Gate! It is hard to realize how difficult and heroic this trip was for you. You have made MANY people you don’t even know so proud of your accomplishment… and of the honor you have bestowed on women in automotive history. Thanks for setting the bar higher for all of us!!

CONTRAT’S !!!!!! You’ve made it all the way and on time. How many bottles of champagne did you go through? Everyone breath a big sigh of relief and enjoy the down time. I can’t wait for the film crew to get the documentary out. The team is AWESOME. You may have recreated Alice’s Drive, but Emily and Christie’s drive had something more special. You had each other to lean on and learn from. You had more people to meet along the way. You’ve had more people watching your progress and cheering you along. You’ve had an adventure beyound imagination. Thanks so very much to each of you for allowing us to come along on the ride. It’s been GREAT.

Hooray and congratulations, this has really been something special. All those years of research, planning, and building, and then trials on the road that tested both your mettle and your metal. What an accomplishment! Thanks for taking us along. Where to next? Phil

Don & I were so pleased to be a small part of your adventure. Loved the stop in Austin and of course Reno’s hospitality. We felt like we were part of your touring family and it was hard to say goodbye. Wish we could have been with you all the way. Don’s birthday was perfect for him, it was a dream he had 20 years ago and now it is a reality. Thanks and congratulations!!!

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS on the completion of your journey! What a fantastic accomplishment! Rena and I really enjoyed riding with you in the Maxwell between Lehi and Delta, UT. Thank you so much for the great opportunity to participate in a small part of your travels. We really admire you both, Emily and Christie, for your sense of adventure, your determination and your enthusiasm for life.

Though I’m the most militant old-schooler you will ever meet under the age of 50, I was glad to learn from a Tweet (of all things!) that you made it to the City by the Bay on schedule. Though Alice Ramsey lived long enough to pass away just a quarter-century ago, she surely would have been intrigued at all the tech that’s allowed you to keep moving and report on your progress while you’re underway. Back in 1909, we both know there were many places she might have pined for cell phone, or at least some hard-surface asphalt!

Congratulations on your arrival in San Francisco! We are so happy for you! Your trip was a tribute to Alice Ramsey and women everywhere. You have demonstrated what can be accomplished with planning and preparation, hard work, and the cooperation of family and friends, not to mention strangers (now friends) along the way. You have shown us in a unique way how much the world has changed in 100 years! Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of this historic event.
