Emily, Christie and Team: I saw you off in NY (in the rain!) on 9 June and again at the Lincoln Highway SB conference on 16 June (again in the rain!).

"Babbit" is an appropriate name for your car, although I hope it does not need any more, and that your bearing problems are behind you.

I know you are facing schedule, family and mechanical challenges but I hope you can persevere through them to the finish. A whole lot of us are rooting for you both personally and symbolically to complete the trip, and a successful completion is something you will carry with you forever!

All the best,
Jerry Peppers, New York

Hello Christie and the Alice Ramsey team,

Christie, you brought tears to my eyes when you mentioned Grandpa De Rosa. You're right! He definitely would have loved following your trip. Keep up the great work and be careful on the next leg of your journey. The mountains are not too forgiving. . .

Hi all, am thrilled to find that the resulting pano images pleased you, and that they've been put to good use. Wishing you continued good luck on your trip, and (since my Dad drives a Model T) understanding that good luck may come in handy at times. Hang in there!

What fun following your adventure. You are proving that the "good old days" never get old. Do you know when will you be in Sacramento? We hope you can stop at the California Auto Museum.

You should call "Car Talk" on NPR and ask Click and Clack about your babbitt problem.
I can just imagine the call, "I'm driving across the country and keep hearing this noise.hatEhat kind of car are you driving?" "1909 Maxwell." long pause follows... First person ever to stump Click and Clack!!!

Following your adventure, loving it. Had you taken the southern route I could have ridden a while with you in my 1923 Maxwell. Fountain Hills Az. (Scottsdale).
Good luck.
