Happy New Year from The Alice’s Drive Team!
We are very excited to be entering 2009 and have a major year in front of us. If you’ve been following along over the course of the last couple of years we’ve been adding little milestones along the way toward June 9th of 2009 and our impending departure from 1930 Broadway, NYC. It’s nerve-wracking to say the least, but we’re making excellent progress and cannot thank everyone enough for sending along emails and communications asking how to help! Keep it up.
I would like to personally thank our latest donor to the drive, 21 year old Jordan Rolfes from Cincinnati, Ohio! Jordan donated $75 of his hard earned money to help the drive get from coast to coast. Thank you Jordan from the Anderson Family and the Alice’s Drive Team to you! What an amazing gesture in a tough economy!
In the coming weeks we are hoping to add a number of features to the website that will make it significantly more interactive and user friendly. We will be adding the following:
A STORE! This is where you will be able to purchase books, t-shirts, artwork and more! Each purchase will help pay for the trip and you’ll get some cool memorabilia!
A DONATIONS PAGE- people are regularly asking how they can help make the drive possible by donating as little as $20, $50, $100 even $1000 or more! We are in process of getting the donation page up and running to be able to accept donations. All proceeds will go to helping make the drive possible and we will offer a direct donation site or a donation site via the film that is 501(c)3 tax deductible!

A MAILING LIST - there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to read or hear about what’s happening so we’ll be adding a mailing list entry form too.
